He basically started his career as a singer in his early stages. & MBA graduate (passed out 2011) done job for 1 year in just dial on contract basis. He has done his bachelor's degree in hotel management from Regency College in 2009. Followed by this he too working professionally in music field today. His grandfather and father also served in the Indian army where his father is retired sub-major who was a huge fan of singer Mohammed Rafi and kept same name to his child.
He belongs from a royal indian army background family where his great grand father was a freedom fighter. He was born to Shaik Abdul Khader in vishakapatnam, bought up and travelled to various cities in india like Mumbai, bengaluru, Assam (silchar), gujarat (bhuj) and settled in Hyderabad. He has worked for 150 short films and independent films from 2015 to present in English, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Silent films and other languages. His 1st Big banner projects are web series Mana Mugguri Love Story 2017 under swapna dutt banner Mahanati fame producer and Mrs Subbalaxmi 2019 under manchu lakshmi banner manchu telefilms & Zee5. He made his full-fledged music direction debut in the Telugu film manasu palike maya prema in 2014 in the Kannada film Komali in 2017 and Rahasyam in 2019. His first multilingual feature film in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada & Malayalam is #PK, released in 2020. Kabir Rafi is an award-winning Indian music director, composer, playback singer, independent pop artist, and background score artist.
